OVERSEER JAMES A. ASHLEY JR.

Overseer of the Greater Life Christian Church located in Camden, Delaware.  He has served as Pastor for 17 years, since receiving the mantel from his parents, the late Bishop James A. Ashley, Sr. & Evangelist Rose Ashley, Founder & Co-Founder, respectively. On March 17, 2012, he was ordained as Overseer.

Overseer Ashley attended Delaware State University, majoring in Business Administration where he used his experience and background in business to further develop his work by starting and partnering in a construction company, known today as READY Construction (Restoring, Establishing Awesome Decorum for You).

After graduating with an Associate Degree in Biblical Studies from the Enlightened Bible Institute located in Houston, Delaware, Overseer Ashley returned years later to broaden his spiritual knowledge and obtained a Bachelor Degree in the same field. 

Overseer Ashley is the visionary and founder of the newly formed Greater Harvest Remnant Fellowship Inc., wherein he is building foundations and restoring the covenant covering required by the Word of God.

His diligent expository teaching is based on the original languages of scripture in light of the historical context in which the bible was written. His innovative techniques incorporate vocabulary, illustrations, and biblical categories to clearly communicate the infallible truths of God’s Word.

      Overseer Ashley ministers in revelation knowledge of the Word of God, bringing hope and healing to hurting people and giving them divine insight, which reveals their true purpose in life and equips them for service in the Kingdom of God. He is in tune with his assignment from God, wherein has embraced the challenge to restore and empower Pastors and leaders in this season. He has further embarked upon his higher calling to seek out the sheep who have gone astray that he shall be the Shepherd and Bishop of their souls (I Peter 2:25).

Overseer Ashley maintains a humble spirit, as he matriculates into a higher calling in Christ Jesus. His untiring devotion to those that the Lord has given him charge over is a source of blessing and inspiration to the Body of Christ.

      Overseer Ashley has been married for 35 years to the lovely Pastor Pippa Ashley. For it is written “the two shall become one flesh” (Genesis 2:22-25).  As a result of this union, they have three children James III, Danielle, and Jarrius. They have been blessed to add five grandchildren to their family as well.
